How Supreme Drops Work
How Supreme's weekly drops work: seasons and Week 1, the Thursday drop time, webstore sellouts, in-store releases, droplists and the resale side.
By OOSClub · Last reviewed
Researched from public informationSupreme releases its clothing and accessories in two seasons a year, with a new batch dropping almost every week, usually on Thursday morning in the US. Online, items sell first come, first served, and the hyped ones sell out fast. This guide covers the season structure, drop times, how the webstore and store releases work, where droplists come from and the resale side.
Who owns Supreme#
EssilorLuxottica, the eyewear group, completed its acquisition of Supreme from VF Corporation on October 2, 2024, for a base price of $1.5 billion in cash. The weekly drop format carried on after the sale: Supreme was still releasing on Thursdays through 2026.
Seasons and weeks#
Supreme runs two seasons, Spring/Summer (SS) and Fall/Winter (FW). Sole Retriever describes each as about 20 weeks of drops, and the r/Supreme community FAQ puts season starts in mid-February and mid-August.
Drops are counted by week. The Fall/Winter 2026 season's Week 1 released on August 20, 2026, before Supreme went back to its usual weekly schedule. The community FAQ also describes an in-store-only "Week 0" at the start of a season, before the webstore joins in Week 1. That's a community term for how seasons have traditionally opened, not a schedule Supreme publishes, so don't count on it every season.
Season codes stick to the products afterwards. Resale listings often identify items by a code such as FW25, which helps when you're checking what an item is and when it came out.
Drop day and time#
Release coverage in 2026 lists US drops on Thursdays at 11am ET (8am PT) on Supreme's webstore and in its stores. In House of Heat's listing for Spring/Summer 2026 Week 6, Supreme Asia released the same week two days later. Supreme's own FAQ says it generally updates its online shop at 11am local time in New York, Japan and London, and that most items don't have set release dates. The r/Supreme community FAQ says European drops have lined up with US drops since 2021, so check the time for your region.
Schedules can change, so confirm each week's release on Supreme's own channels.
How the webstore drop works#
When the drop goes live, new items appear on the webstore and sell first come, first served. Hyped pieces can sell out within seconds, according to Sole Retriever's Supreme guide.
Supreme's FAQ says that, because quantities are limited, it can sell only one style per product. The "one per item per card" rule you'll see in community guides, including Sole Retriever's 2022 guide, is a useful rule of thumb, but limits can vary by product and release. Supreme's terms also say orders can't be cancelled once placed.
After the first rush, restocks happen but aren't scheduled. Supreme says it restocks some items on occasion, and the r/Supreme FAQ says restocks are random and usually tied to cancelled orders and in-store restocks, which is one reason people run a monitor on the webstore after a drop.
Supreme's terms prohibit robots, scraping and similar automated methods, but bots have chased Supreme for years. Glossy reported in 2019 that a $20 Supreme bot app ranked third among trending paid apps on Apple's App Store, and in 2025 the bot-defense company Kasada listed Supreme camera keychains among products bots were targeting. Our guide to sneaker sites explains how bots treat individual store families.
Getting ready for a drop#
Because the webstore is first come, first served, preparation is most of what a manual buyer controls. Sole Retriever's guide suggests:
- knowing your size and color before the drop;
- having payment and address details saved, or a fast option such as Apple Pay;
- going straight to the item rather than browsing the shop;
- buying one item at a time rather than building a big cart;
- using a fast, stable connection.
None of this changes how many pieces there are, and hyped items can still sell out within seconds.
In-store releases#
Supreme's stores get the week's items on drop day too. For high-demand releases, community guides describe Supreme using online registration, appointments or randomized lines, and procedures vary by location, season and drop. Sole Retriever's 2022 guide, for example, listed sign-ups opening at set weekday times by city, ahead of the Thursday drop. Check the current process for the store you plan to visit before drop week.
In stores, Supreme's terms limit you to one style per product and one transaction per day.
Droplists and previews#
Each week's items become public in stages. Supreme previews upcoming items on its own channels, and community accounts and sites then publish full droplists with photos and prices. House of Heat's Fall/Winter 2026 Week 1 coverage, for example, credited its photos to DropsByJay on Instagram.
Two cautions. Early lists and leaks are often incomplete or wrong, and the r/Supreme FAQ advises taking them with a grain of salt. And prices on a droplist are retail, not resale. Some cook groups cover Supreme weeks for members as well; our guide to cook groups explains what they offer.
The resale side#
Supreme items trade widely on resale marketplaces; GOAT, for example, lists Supreme apparel by season code. Resale prices vary a lot by item, size, color and season, so OOSClub doesn't publish price expectations. Note that Supreme's terms say you may buy products only for personal use and not for resale. Before buying to resell:
- Know the fees. Marketplace fees and shipping come out of any margin. Our guide to where to sell streetwear compares the options.
- Know how authentication works. Buyers of resale streetwear want to know an item is real. Our guide to legit checks covers how authentication works.
- Run the numbers. The resale profit calculator adds fees and shipping to what you paid.
