Overview

Amazon Lightsail is Amazon Web Services' simplified virtual private server product, sold as fixed monthly bundles that combine memory, vCPUs, SSD storage and a data transfer allowance. Linux/Unix bundles with a public IPv4 address start at $5 a month for 0.5 GB of memory and run to $1,764 for 256 GB in the general-purpose line, with memory optimized and compute optimized lines alongside; IPv6-only bundles start at $3.50. Every plan includes a static IP, DNS management, one-click SSH or RDP access, an API and server monitoring. Lightsail also sells containers, object storage, managed databases and load balancers. It is a general-purpose cloud service and isn't marketed to resellers.
